Pressure dependance of Hammett reaction parameter was analyzed and the free energy relationship for the pressure change derived thermodynamically. There are insufficient data in the literature to test the relation derived but from some limited previous data it could be concluded that the parameter ${ ho}$ is dependent on pressure and increase or decrease as pressure increase for a given reaction series.
