소나무과의 리기다송(Pinus rigida Mill)과 적송(Pinus densiflora Sieb & Zucc)의 needle oil을 gas chromatography/mass spectrometry(GC/MS)로 분석하였다. 리기다송의 주요 성분은 ${alpha}-pinene$, 1-hexen-3-ol formate, sabinene, ${eta}-pinene,;{alpha}-terpieol$, ${eta}-caryophyllene$ 등 이었으며, 적송은 ${alpha}-pinene$, bornyl acetate, ${eta}-pinene$, ${eta}-hpellandrene$ 등이 주성분이었다. 적송은 리기다송에 비해 fresh, soft sweet하며 삼림을 연상시키는 효과가 컸는데, 리기다송에 bornyl acetate를 첨가하였더니 적송보다 더 강한 삼림향을 나타내었다.
The needle oils of Pious rigida Mill and Pious densiflora Sieb & Zucc were analyzed by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. The major components of Pinus rigida were ${alpha}-pinene$, 1-hexen-3-ol formate, sabinene, ${eta}-pinene,;{alpha}-terpineol$ and ${eta}-caryophyllene,;{alpha}-pinene$, bornyl acetate, ${eta}-pinene$ and ${eta}-hpellandrene$ were the major components fo Pious densiflora. Pious densiflora had sweeter and more greenish note than Pines rigida because the bornyl acetate content of Pious densiflora was about three times more than that of Pious rigida.
