Hepatic angiography has been used in the diagnosis of a wide variety of diseases of the liver. This study was an analysis of pattern of branch and segmental anatomy of intrahepatic artery in 100 patients who received hepatic arteriography. Of 100 patients CT in 22 patients and US in 2 patients were compared to the angiograph for evaluation of segmental anatomy and superselective arteriography was carried out in 2 cadaveric livers for spacial anatomy. The results were as follows: The hepatic artery divides into a right and a left hepatic arteries. 1. Right hepatic artery has six branches : anteroinferior anterosuperior posteroinferior posterosuperior lateral and central branches. 2. Left hepatic artery has two segmental branches : medial and lateral branches.
