본 보고는 한국산 똥풍뎅이속 중 중후경절단극모열이 서로 다른 길이이며 소순판의 앞쪽은 평행형인 2아속 4종과 이들이 서로 같은 길이이며 소순판은 삼각형인 5아속 8종 중 한국산이 아닌 것으로 생각되는 1아속 1종을 제외한 나머지 등의 11종에 대한 연구결과이다. 이에 따르면 그동안 국내에서 기록되어왔던 종중 여러 종이 그들의 학명이나 또는 소속 아속에 많은 문제점을 가지고 있었다.
This report discusses the results of systematic account of 11 species of the Korean Aphodius(Aphodiidae) which has the different length of the raw of terminal spines in the mid- and hind tibiae and parallel sided in the apex of the scutellum or the same length of the raw of terminal spines and triangular scutellum. Of those, one species (A. alpinus) is not seem to be Korean fauna, and four species (A. dzamosanicus, scrofa, botulus and inexspectatus) were recorded only from the North Korea.
