CT-guided fine needle biopsy was performed on 18 patients with intraorbital masses for the purpose of histologic diagnosis perior to decision of treatment planning. 15 biopsies were successfull for histologiic diagnosis and 3 biopsies gave valuable cytologic information for clinical diagnosis and treatment planning. There were no compication needed treatment and no delayed sequela responsible for biopsy. CT- guided fine needle biopsy of intraorbital masses is accurate and safe method for pathologic diagnosis and is vital for decision of treatment planning.
