An algorithm is described for performing the analysis of the Munsell space, F(H, V, C), corresponding to given CIE space, F(y, x, y). Mathematically, this is equivalent to a three dimensional coordinate transformation where the functions are given only numerically for a grid of discrete points. This grid consists of approximately 10,000 points which are nonuni- formly spaced.
