Hepatic infarct is relatively rare and uncommonly diagnosed before autopsy. We experienced a case of hepatic infarct involving the left lobe of the liver. The early findings of the lesion appeared hypoechoic on ultrasonography(US), and poorly demarcated low density on computed tomography. The lesion became more distinctly marginated. Finally, the involved left lobe of the liver was atrophied.
