The atmospheric concentrations of Sulfur Dioxide and Total Suspended Particulates were measured in Chuncheon and Wonju from August 5 to October 20, 1989. The results of the study are as follows. 1. The atmospheric concentrations of SO$_{2}$ were 0.014 ppm and 0.030 ppm in Chuncheon and Wonju, respectively. The highest concentration was 0.044ppm in the commercial area of Wonju city. 2. The variation of SO$_{4}$ concentration by time of the day showed a tendency that levels in the morning and evening were higher than those in the afternoon. Temperature inversion was observed at dawn. The highest concentration, 0.055ppm, was recorded at Hupyung Industrial Complex in the afternoon. 3. The TSP levels by sampling locations were as follows. Hupyung Industrial Complex indicated 257$mu$g/m$^{3}$, Hupyungdong 94$mu$g/m$^{3}$, Chungangro 145$^{mu}$g/m$^{3}$, Saembat 60ttg/m3 in Chuncheon, and Wonju Indsutrial Complex 130 $mu$g/m$^{3}$, Jungangdong 147 $mu$g/m$^{3}$ , Gaewoondong 107y$mu$g
