Zone-annealing, stepwise zone-drawing antral high temperature cone-drawing method were adapted for PET samples in order to obtain high modulus and high strength PET aims. The PET samples, drawn by the stepwise zone-drawing method, had the highest tensile modulus of 19 GPa and storage modulus of 4 GPa at 20$0^{circ}C$. Using high temperature Bone-drawing method, the PET samples with the highest crystallinity were obtained among the three different drawing methods. The effective contribution of crystalline phase to the total birefringence was achieved by the high temperature zone-drawing/zone-annealing method. The stepwise zone-drawing method was most effective to enhance the amorphous chain molecular orientation along the fiber axis.
