When a telecommunications line is encountered with neighboring electric lines, induced currents are produced in the circuit formed by those lines and earth. The induced currents sometimes impose intolerable noise problems on the telecommunications lines. In this study, screening factor indication the level of screening effect is defined and calculated several cases together with numerical results.
