This paper presents the experimental results on the strength and ductility of high tension steel connections. In order to investigate the effects of stiffness ratio of the web plate and material properties on the panel zone behavior, two types of specimens are tested under the monotonic and cyclic loading. The experiments on the cyclic behavior of low yield ratio steel(LYR steel) connections are also conducted. The test results of ten connections under each loading program are reported herein.
