기타언어초록

Due to the potential applications and associated bendfits of the friction reduction phenomenon in district heating system, we investigated drag rduction built by dilute solution of water soluble polymer and polymer-surfactant complex mixture under turbulent flow in a rotating disk apparatus(RDA). Specific considerations were put on both interaction and drag rduction of homologous series of polyethylene oxide (PEO) and polyacrylic acid(PAA) with carboxylate soap. Drag reduction was observed to be enhanced by increasing both molecular weight and surfactant(SDS) concentration. Further, the ionic PAA-surfactant complex system is found to be a better drag reducer than the nonionic PEO-srufantant complex resulting form ionic binding of surfactant onto the polymer chain, while the formation of a nonionic polymer(PEO)-surfactant complex results from hydrophobic bonding of surfactant molecules to the polymer chain. We also studid degradation effects by measuring the precent drag reduction as a function of time.
