Intergranular corrosion of austenitic stainless steels in molten carbonate salt(L$i_2$C$O_3$-$K_2$C$O_3$) at 65$0^{circ}C$ was examined by relating the composition of the steel to the corrosion properties. Electrochemical potentiokinetic reactivation(EPR) procedure was used to measure the degree of sensitization to intergranular corrosion of stainless steels. It was found that all the austenitic stainless steels exhibited active-passive transition in molten carbonate salt at 65$0^{circ}C$. Results of the EPR test showed that AISI 310 stainless steel which contains high chromuim and nickel had the high intergranular corroison resistance in molten carbonate salt. AISI 304L and 316L stainless steels which are low carbon stainless steel had higher intergranular corrosion resistance that AISI 304 and 316 stainless steels, respectively.
