To investigate the load carring capacity under momentless concentrated loads experimental and theoretical studies were carried out. The overhanging length from edge of bearing to end of profile were variable to examine the effect of the overhanging portions. Analysis models have been derived from failure mode of full scale tests. Theoretical values are compared with test results carried out here and with tests of other authors. From statistical evaluation of test results according to EC3 of annex Z the partial safety resistance factors ${gamma}_M$ are caculated and compared with the target value of 1.1.
