과학기술분야 연구자들의 정보환경과 각종 정보의 이용실태를 분석하였다. 자연과학 분야의 4개 연구소와 대학을 표본집단으로 선정하여 연구업무에 종사하고 있는 연구원과 교수, 연구자이면서 대학원생인 정보이용자들 113명에 대해 25개 항목으로 구성된 조사표를 작성하여 이중에서 일정한 유의 수준을 갖는 항목 14개를 분석하여 정보이용자들의 일반정보환경과 정보이용 형태를 분석하고 제시된 가설을 검증하였다.
This study intended to analyze overall information environment and information needs of researchers in scientific and technological fields. 113 researchers, professors or research graduate students either working or studying in four of the scientific research institutes or colleges majoring in science and technology were selected as a sample group. Out of 25 items in the questionnaires, 14 showed statistically significant through which their information environment and information seeking behavior were analyzed and hpothesis were tested
