멸구류 포식성 천적인 멸구잡이침노린재(Staccia diluta Stal)의 알, 약충, 성충의 형태적 특징을 25$pm$1$^{circ}C$ 실험실조건에서 관찰하였다. 알은 달걀형으로 엷은 하늘색이며, 크기는 길이가 0.93mm, 폭은 0.63mm이며, 윗쪽의 내 외부에 섬모가 나있다. 섬모의 수는 바같쪽이 48개, 안쪽은 24개로 바같쪽 섬모의 길이는 0.80mm이며, 안쪽은 0.16mm이다. 약충은 5회 탈피를 하여 성충이 되며, 체장은 1령충이 1.8~2.1mm, 2령충은 2.9~3.2mm, 3령충은 4.0~4.3mm, 4령충은 5.8~6.0mm, 5령충은 6.9~7.2mm이며, 그리고 체색은 암회색 내지는 회색이다. 우화된 성충은 잘 발달된 날개를 가지고 있다. 더듬이는 4마디로 사상형이며, 제2채찍마디에 미세한 털이 나있다. 성충의 체색은 황갈색이며, 체장은 암컷이 8.9~9.0mm, 숫컷은 7.9~8.1mm이었다.
A morphological study on the egg, nymph, and adult stages of Staccia diluta Stal was carried out under larboratory condition at 25$pm$ 1$^{circ}C$. The egg was oval-shaped, light azure- coloured, 0.93$ imes$0.63 mm in size, internally and/or externally packed with cilia. The number of cilia was 48 outside and 24 inside, and the length was 0.80 mm outside and 0.16 mm inside. Staccia diluta underwent 5 developmental nymphal stages, whose body lengths were 1.8~2.1, 2.9~3.2, 4.0~4.2, 5.8~6.0, and 6.9~7.2mm respectively, and whose body color was dark-gray to grey. Adults of Staccia diluta possess well-developed wings. Antennae was filiform and 4 segmented, and their second flagellum had very small hairs. Adult body color was yellowish brown, and female body length was 8.9~9.0 mm, and male body length was 7.9~8.1mm.
