생리적 스트레스(절식 및 먹이조건)에 따른 방아깨비 (Acrida cinerea) biliverdin-binding protein들(BP-1, BP-2)의 변동상을 조사하였다. 약충의 발생동안 건조된 먹이 취식시 갈색으로의 체색변화가 나타났으며, 체색이 갈색에 가까운 개체에서는 biliverdin-binding protein들의 함량이 감소하는 것으로 확인되었다. 전기영동 및 면역학적 연구결과 그 감소양상은 BP-2에 비하여 BP-1이 현저하게 나타났다. 절식시 종령약충의 BP-2함량에는 큰 변화가 없었으나, 절식시간이 경과됨에 따라 (36시간 이후)BP-1은 급격히 감소되었다.
Changes of biliverdin-binding proteins (BP-1, BP-2) by some physiological stresses (starvation, diet) were investigated in Acrida cinerea. Body color was changed to brown by feeding on dried diet plant during nympal development. The less BPs content was observed in insect of body color closer to brown. As the results from electrophoretic and immunological analysis, the decreasing aspect was greater in BP-1 than BP-2. In the starved mature nymph, also BP-1 content was declined in proportion to the elapsed time, but BP-2 was kept to constant level.
