Investigation of the fruits of Chaenomeles sinensis (Rosaceae) resulted in the isolation of a minor flavonoid. The structure of flavanone glycoside was determined to be as $2-hydroxynaringenin-7-O-{eta}-glucoside$ on the basis of FAB-MS and spectral evidence, especially by 2D-NMR $(^1H-^1H;COSY,;HMQC,;HMBC;and;NOESY)$.
