Collections of aquatic and semiaquatic Collembola (Insecta) were made from the Mankyung River Streams of Jeollabuk-do Province for their systematic study. We identified four new species and six new records for this country. They are as follows; Agranurida minuta n. sp., Pseudocolonavis rosea n. sp., Isotomurus mankyungensis n. sp., Entomobrya aquatica n. sp., Hypogastrura denticulata (Bagnall, 1941), Onychiurus fimetarius (Linne, 1758), Isotomurus palustris (Muller, 1776), Isotomurus palustroides Folsom, 1937, Agrenia bidenticulata (Tullberg, 1876) and Sminthurides aquaticus Bourlet, 1843. This study is the first systematic report on aquatic Collembola from Korean streams.
