The purpose of this study was to construct the management information system for supporting the supervision of construction workplace. For the purpose, firstly, this study surveyed the present states and the problems of construction workplace in Korea. And then, defined the range and the process of the supervision of construction workplace, and examined the information standards of construction and the CALS standards for supporting. As a result, this study proposed the first stage of management information system, which consists of several basic functions, such as, document management, system management and partially, duality management and construction information management.
