본 논문에서는 웨이블릿 계수 변화량을 고려한 극성 기반 블라인드 워터마킹 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법에서는 영상을 변형시키는 다양한 공격에서 워터마크 검출력을 높이기 위해 삽입과 검출시에 사용되는 임계치를 달리하여 적용하는 비대칭 임계치 워터마킹을 적용하였다. 또한 워터마크 검출시 계수 값의 작은 변화에 따른 워터마크 검출 값의 오류 현상을 개선하기 위해 계수 값 이동 변화량을 분석하여 이 범위 안에 속하는 계수 변화량은 인정하지 않아 계수 값의 변화 민감성을 둔화시켰다. 이를 위해 극성 유지 임계치 $eta$를 설정하여 $eta$ 이상의 차이 값에 대해서만 극성 내용을 토대로 워터마크를 검출하였다. 실험 결과 제안한 방법은 비교적 우수한 화질에서 손실 JPEG 압축, 잡음 첨가, 클로핑, 블러링 등의 공격에 강인함을 알 수 있었다.
In this paper, a polarity based blind watermarking method considering wavelet coefficients modification is proposed. In this proposed method, we use an asymmetric thresholds watermarking(ATW) in which detection threshold is higher than inserting threshold in order to enhance watermark detection ratio in attacked images. Also, in order to reduce errors in the detected value of watermarks according to small changes in the coefficient values when detecting watermarks, it set the range for movement variation of the coefficients and lowered the sensitivity of variation by ignoring the variations that fall into this range. For this purpose, the polarity preservation threshold $eta$ was set and a watermark was detected based on the polarity only for the difference that was larger than $eta$. The experimental results show that the proposed method has good quality and is robust to various attacks such as the JPEG lossy compression, noise addition, cropping, blurring, etc.
