정보사회의 기본개념과 정보활용에 대한 이해를 목적으로 개설된 교양과목을 수강하는 대학생들이 정보 접근력 함양을 위한 과제를 수행하는 양태를 분석하였다. 또한 이 과정의 효용성과 문제점을 도출해내기 위하여 설문조사를 통해 데이터를 수집하였고 질적분석을 통해 주요 응답 내용을 파악하여 대학생을 위한 정보활용 교과의 토대를 마련하고자 하였다.
The objective of this study is to provide a basis for information literacy instruction in college education. For this purpose, assignments and surveys were distributed to the students in a 3 credit course that deals with the characteristics of information society and information literacy competency. Assignments and surveys were about identification of the information needed and access to the needed information, since that is the first step for the information seeking process. The results were analysed by qualitative methods.
