내장형 단말기 안테나, 기지국 안테나, WLAN 안테나, Bluetooth 안테나 등에 이용되는 평면 안테나의 새로운 구조 설계는 최근 특히 2000년 이후에 많이 보고되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 GSM/DSC 단말기용 듀얼대역 내장형 안테나를 제안하였다. 안테나는 38mm$ imes$90mm$ imes$1mm의 이동 단말기 PCB 크기와 30mm$ imes$8mm$ imes$3.2mm의 폴더형 패치 크기를 갖는다. 이 안테나 특성은 듀얼대역 설계에서 2개의 동작 주파수 909MHz, 1762MHz의 동조가 용이하다. 동작주파수 909MHz, 1762MHz에 대하여 측정된 방사패턴 E면과 H면을 비교 분석하였다. GSM/DSC 단말기용 설계 제작한 듀얼대역 내장형 안테나는 모든 대역에서 0dBi에서 2.0dBi사이의 이득을 갖는다.
Many novel designs of planar antennas for related applications such as internal mobile phone antennas, base station antennas, WLAN or Bluetooth antennas, and so on, have been reported very recently, especially since the year 2000. In this thesis, Dualband internal antenna for GSM/DSC handset is proposed. The antenna has a size of about 38mm$ imes$90mm$ imes$1mm, giving a total mobile phone PCB for support and fold type Patch of about 30mm$ imes$8mm$ imes$3.2mm. This antenna characteristic facilitates the fine-tuning of the two operating frequencies of 909MHz and 1762MHz in this dualband design. The measured radiation pattern in the E-plane and H-plane for operating frequencies of 909MHz and 1762MHz is compared and analyzed. The designed and fabricated two band internal antenna for GSM/DSC handset have a gain between 0dBi and 2.0dBi at all bands.
