"Purpose : The purpose of this study was to analyse the current clinical education an baccalaureate Nursing Program in Korea. Method : The data were collected by survey from 45 out of 53 nursing schools between August and December, 2004. Result : All the nursing schools have been providing one laboratory room for fundamental nursing practice and rate of having other laboratory room for other nursing subjects was $57.8%$. In terms of operating system of clinical practicum, $75.6%$ out of 45 nursing schools, clinical practicum Period was seperated from lecture period(called Block system). Also 41 nursing schools($85.3%$) allocated 3 hours per 1 credit for clinical practicum. Thirty-six nursing schools($75%$) allocated 2 hours per one credit for fundamental nursing practice. Twenty four nursing schools($53.3%$) have been helding educational commitee meeting for managing clinical practicum. The total credits of each subject related to clinical practicum for maternal nursing, dommunity health nursing, pediatric ursing, psychiatric nursing were 3 or 4 points, and $11~14$ points for adult health nursing. Only 31 nursing schools($68.9%$) have been providing formal written agreement about clinical practicum between school and hospital. Conclusion : This survey data show current feature of clinical nursing practucum in Korean Baccalaureate Nursing Program. Authors recommend that these data be utilized as the referent data for nursing education program accrediation in Korea."
