본 연구는 유비쿼터스 시대의 도서관 환경에 관하여 다각도로 검토하고 도서관 경영 전략을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구와 관련된 자료를 통해 우리나라도서관의 내외부의 환경을 조사하고 이를 바탕으로 보다 종합적인 도서관 경영전략을 마련하였다. 연구 결과 유비쿼터스 시대의 도서관의 발전을 위한 경영 전략으로 첫째, 도서관의 하이브리화 전략, 둘째, 콘텐트 확충 전략, 셋째, 이용자 서비스 다각화 전략, 넷째, 도서관의 조직 개편 및 학습조직문화 조성 전략, 다섯째, 도서관의 기금 모집 전략이 제안되었다.
The purpose of this study is to propose the management strategies of libraries through exploring the library environment in ubiquitous era. After the internal and external environment of Korean libraries was investigated by papers related with this study, the comprehensive management strategies of libraries were prepared. Five management strategies for library development in ubiquitous era were proposed. They were the strategies of library hybridization, collecting contents, user service diversification, changing library organization and preparing culture of learning organization, and collecting library fund.
