Multiple myeloma is characterized by the neoplastic proliferation of a single clone of plasma cells producing a monoclonal immunoglobulin and it is frequently associated with primary amyloidosis. I experienced a medical claims review case of plasma cell dyscrasia with primary amyloidosis.
