Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of chuna treatment on lumbar sprain caused by traffic accident. Methods: This study carried out on 20 patients who have received hospital treatment in Semyung University Oriental Hospital. 20 patients were divided 2 groups. Non-chuna group got acupuncture-therapy, herbal medication, physical therapy and chuna group got chuna treatment besides. And then compared the VAS measurements of each group. Results: 1. Both group were significantly improved in VAS after 7 days of treatment. 2. Chuna group compared with Non-chuna group was significantly improved in VAS after 7 days of treatment. Conclusions: We found out that chuna treatment is considered to be effective and useful on lumbar sprain caused by traffic accident.
