본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 사용자의 숙련도와 컴퓨터 성능에 대한 만족도 간의 상관 관계를 살펴본다. 기존의 컴퓨터 공학계에서는 사용자에 대한 세심한 배려 없이 주로 성능 그 자체에만 관심을 가져왔으나, 최근 사용자에 대한 관심을 가져야 한다는 주장이 관심을 모으고 있다. 본 논문에서는 실제 프로그램을 통하여 로그를 모아서 다각적으로 숙련도와 만족도 사이의 관계를 평가한다. 실험 결과는 사용자의 숙련도와 그들이 요구하는 성능 간의 관계가 유의함을 보여준다. 또한 어느 수준의 성능에 사용자들이 만족하는지를 보여주며, 회귀 분석을 통해 숙련도와 불편을 느끼는 횟수 사이의 상관 관계도 제시한다. 본 논문을 기반으로 컴퓨터 공학과 경영학의 많은 공동 연구가 진행되어, 컴퓨터 시스템이 사용자를 더욱 잘 고려하여 최적화된 성능을 제공하기를 기대한다.
This paper explores the relation between computer user proficiency and satisfaction of computer performance. Though the traditional computer engineering society has focused on performance itself without careful consideration of users, there are opinions that users should be taken care of. In this paper, we evaluate the relation between proficiency and satisfaction with various viewpoints by collecting log through rea1 program. Experimental results show that there is significant relation between user proficiency and performance. In addition, this paper shows how high performance satisfies users and presents regression analysis to find relation between proficiency and the number of inconveniences. Based on this paper, we expect computer systems to better consider users through more collaborative research between computer engineering and business administration.
