독립 컴퓨팅 환경 기반에서 실행 프로세스를 모니터링하는 선행 연구는 있어 왔고, 지금은 인터넷 환경의 보편화로 분산 컴퓨팅 환경 기반에서 실행 프로세스를 모니터링하는 연구가 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구의 분산 에이전트 기반 클라이언트 프로세스 모니터링 시스템은 클라이언트에 설치되는 에이전트와 모니터링 결과를 보여주는 서버 시스템으로 구성된다. 클라이언트에서 동작하는 에이전트는 해당 PC에서 실행 상태의 프로세스 정보를 서버로 전송하고, 서버 시스템에서는 이를 데이터베이스로 저장하고 웹으로 보여준다. 이를 통해 컴퓨터 감독자는 분산 환경에서 PC 사용자의 실행 프로세스를 용이하게 감독할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 시스템을 이용하면 분산 환경 기반에서 컴퓨터 감독자는 PC 사용자로 하여금 불필요한 프로그램 실행을 자제하도록 안내하고 이를 관리할 수 있다.
There have been preceding researches about monitoring for executing process based in independent computing system. But, we need a research about monitoring for executing process based in distributed computing system in internet generation. Therefore, we have researched distribute agent based the Client Process Monitoring System is consist of an agent which is installed in a client and server system that shows results of monitoring. An agent that works in a client transfers running informations of process to a server, the server system saves them and shows with web page. This can supervise executing process of PC users in distributed conditions easily. Therefore, supervisors of computer which is based by distributed agents can notify to PC users about refraining from other unnecessary programs and manage them.
