개인정보보호법의 제정으로 기업이나 기관이 개인정보를 정해진 기준에 따라 적합하게 관리하고 있음을 인증해 주는 개인정보관리체계의 인증제도 도입이 추진되고 있다. 개인정보보호법의 자율규제확보를 위한 효과적인 인증제도 도입을 위해서는 적절한 인정기관 인증기관의 지정과 개인정보보호법 적용 대상 기관의 다양성을 고려한 분야별 인증기준의 마련이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 공공기관 및 민간기업의 개인정보보호담당자와 개인정보관리체계 인증제 관련 전문가를 대상으로 개인정보보호법상의 자율규제 확보를 위한 인증제 마련시 고려사항을 도출하여 개인정보보호법상의 적용대상을 고려한 개인정보관리체계 인증제 도입 방안을 제시하고자 한다.
The introduction of the Certification System for PIMS(Personal Information Management System) that all of companies and organizations that utilize personal information have to perform the management them in Personal Information Protection law and obtain the certificate of PIMS is pushed ahead. In order to introduce effective authorization system and ensure self-imposed control on the law, we need to designate appropriate certificate authorities and the authorization standard considered the diversity of many kinds of fields. This dissertation proposes the method for introduction of the Certification System for the PIMS that already considered above facts that draw a conclusion from the related experts and people in charge of the law in the all of the companies or organizations.
