Objectives : This study was performed to evaluate the effect of breast needle-embedding therapy for breast augmentation to 85 females. Methods : 85 females belonged to 75A or less size underwent 10 sessions of breast needle-embedding therapy. Bust circumference(BC) and underbust circumference(UC) were measured and compared before and after treatment. Body mass index(BMI) and body fat percentage(BFP) were also measured. The primary end point of the study was increasement of the difference between BC and UC. Results : BC and the difference between BC and UC were significantly increased. UC was significantly decreased after treatment. BMI and BFP of the patients had no significant correlation with the breast augmentation effect. Conclusions : This study suggests that breast needle-embedding therapy may have an effect on breast augmentation regardless of body fatness.
