The purpose of this study is to examine the structural relationships among the related
variables of music therapy supervision, such as the supervisory style, developmental level
of the supervisees’, and the supervisory working alliance of supervision, with a focus on
the feedback acceptance as perceived by the supervisees’. And the second step is to
testify Goodness of Fit Index and Path coefficient of structural model by using PLS
Structural Equation Model. The study subjects were composed of 206 preprofessionals
and professionals, and all of whom received supervision within the past 6 months. The
outcome of the study showed that, firstly, the supervisory style was a variable that
directly affected the feedback acceptance of the supervisee’s and had an even stronger
influence through the mediating effect of the supervisory working alliance. Second, the
developmental level of the supervisees’ had not a statistically significant influence on the
feedback acceptance. Third, Supervisory working alliance is a significant mediating in the
effects of supervisory styles and developmental level of the supervisees’ on supervisees’
feedback acceptance. Based on the results above, it was concluded that the supervisory
working alliance is an essential variable to increase the supervisory feedback acceptance.
