이 연구는 시각장애유아 통합교육에 대한 보육교사의 인식을 분석하여 시각장애유아의 통합교육을 활 성화하기 위한 기초자료로 제공하기 위해 수행하였다. 이를 위해 대구ㆍ경북 지역의 일반 어린이집 보육 교사 233명을 대상으로 설문조사하여 얻어진 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 시각장애유아 통합 교육에 대한 보육교사의 전반적인 인식 수준은 보통 수준이었으며, 하위 요인별로는 ‘교사의 지식 및 태도’, ‘교사의 인지 수준’, ‘유아에 대한 기대 수준’ 순으로 높았다. 특히 ‘교사의 지식 및 태도’는 보통 이상 수준이었다. 둘째, 보육교사의 배경변인별 인식 수준은 민간어린이집 보육교사가 기타 유형의 어린이집 보육교사보다 ‘교사의 인지 수준’과 ‘유아에 대한 기대 수준’에서 더 높았다. 또한 특수교육 관련 연수 경험이 있는 보육교사가 연수 경험이 없는 보육교사보다 ‘유아에 대한 기대 수준’이 더 높았다. 그리고 최종학력은 대학교 또는 대학원 졸업인 보육교사가 고등학교 졸업인 보육교사보다 ‘교사의 인지 수준’, ‘유아에 대한 기대 수준’이 더 높았다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 후속 연구에 필요한 사항을 제언 하였다.
The purpose of this study is offering basic materials development of integrated education for children with visual impairments. It is analyzed for the perception of childcare teachers on integrated education for children with visual impairments. To carry out the purpose, Questionnaire was distributed and analyzed the perception level of 233 childcare teachers in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do. The results of this study were as follows. First, the perception level of childcare teachers reveals average. Knowledge and attitude, cognitive level and expectation level to children with visual impairments indicate levels in descending order. Especially, knowledge and attitude indicate higher level. Second, teachers of private childcare centers indicate higher level than teachers of other types of childcare centers in cognitive level and expectation level to children with visual impairments. Teachers experienced in training of special education indicate higher level than non experienced teachers in expectation level to children with visual impairments. Teachers with graduation from university and graduate school indicate higher level than teachers graduated from high school in cognitive level and expectation level to children with visual impairments.
