This study was conducted to see if there would exist some correlation between creativity and creative
personalities as well as differences due to external factors(environmental factors) on the basis of
undergraduates’ creative home environment including their creative school environment. The 154 subjects
were selected from universities in Seoul metropolitan area, to whom some tests for three areas were
carried out; integrative creativity, creative home environment, and creative school environment. And the
results are as follows; First, it was found out that undergraduate creative home and school environment
has relevance to creative thinking and personality. Second, creative home environment has relevance to
both creative thinking and personality, but it was revealed that there were significant differences
depending on environments they are involved in. Finally, there was no correlation between creative school
environment and creative thinking, but it was found that there were meaningful differences with respect
to creative personalities depending on the level of creative school environment. The findings proved there
were important correlations between creative environment and undergraduates’ creativity, and there were
also needs for programs to support creative environmental factors.
