본 연구는 Winnicott의 대상관계이론에 중점을 둔 미술치료프로그램이 인터넷중독 청소년의 대인관계와 인 터넷중독 증세에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보고자 하는 것이다. 연구대상은 신경정신전문의로부터 인터넷중 독으로 추정진단을 받고 인터넷중독 증세로 인한 대인관계에 어려움을 겪어 담임으로부터 의뢰된 고등학교 1 학년 여고생 1명을 대상으로 선정하였다. 프로그램은 구조적인 프로그램과 비구조적인 프로그램을 병행하여 총 38회기 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미술치료 프로그램에서 치료자의 모성적 돌봄이 대상자가 외부와 소통할 수 있는 심리적 구조를 튼튼히 함으로써 자퇴신청을 했던 대상자가 이후에는 자발적으로 교우 관계를 이끌어가는 모습과 대안학교로의 진학을 논의하고 새로운 또래관계의 기대를 표현하는 것에서 학교생 활에서의 대인관계의 긍정적인 심리적․행동적 변화를 확인하였다. 둘째, 현실관계의 욕구를 충족시키는 촉진적 환경의 미술치료가 적절한 중간대상 역할을 하여 가상세계와 현실세계의 구분능력을 상승시키는데 효과가 있 음을 입증하였고, 치료자와의 안정감 있는 관계 속에서 자기(self)를 찾아 진로를 설정하고 이에 미래를 향한 건 설적인 인터넷 사용의 의미를 찾게 되었으며, 폭력게임에 대한 위험성을 스스로 인지하고 통제하려 노력하는 모습에서 미술치료 프로그램이 대상자의 인터넷중독 증세에 긍정적인 영향을 준 것을 확인하였다.
This study is to observe the effect of art therapy based on the object relations theory of Winnicott on interpersonal relation and internet addiction of youth. The subject is a first grader of high school female student requested by the teacher in charge, who are experiencing difficulty in interpersonal relation due to symptom of internet addiction. The program consists of total 38 sessions which have been performed individually and structured and non-structured programs were run parallel. According to the findings, first, in the art therapy program, maternal care strengthens psychological structure that the subject can communicate with the outside. initially she volunteered to withdraw the school, and then made peer relation voluntary, discuss for entering into alternative school and expressed her expectation for new peer relations. From theses appearances, the positive mental and behavioral changes were observed. Second, It proved that the art therapy in a facilitative environment which fulfil the desire in the relation to reality plays a role of proper intermediate object, affecting improvement of judgement between the cyber world and real world. From the appearances that she set up the path by finding self in the stable relationship with the therapist, found positive constructive meaning of internet use for the future, tried to recognize and control the risk of violent game, it is observed that the art therapy program gave positive effects.
