직업이란 삶을 영위해나가는 경제적인 원천인 동시에 사회구성원으로 살아간다는 것을 인정받는 것은 물론 자아실현을 할 수 있는 기본적인 토대로 장애인도 예외가 될 수 없다. 최근 장애인에 대한 고용인식이 사회적 으로 공감대 형성과 제도적인 뒷받침으로 인하여 많은 일자리들이 생겨나고 고용의 기회도 확대되고 있다. 하 지만, 지적장애인은 고등학교 차원에서 체계적인 훈련프로그램이나 서비스를 제대로 제공을 받지 못하는 관 계로 가정이나 시설로 돌아오는 등 제도와 정책의 수혜자라고 보기 어렵다. 여기서는 이러한 문제점을 알고 학교와 지역기관 간 교육적 협력을 통한 체계적인 진로ㆍ직업교육을 시행한 결과 고등부 특수학급 지적학생 들의 인생태도는 물론 취업을 위한 직업준비에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있다.
A occupation is recognized for life with member of society and economic source. Also, the disabled is not exception. Lately, society sympathy to disabled employment perception and institutional support that disabled people more likely to have expend opportunity of employment but it's hard to see beneficiary because lack of systematic training programs and service at high school level. We know these problem and result of enforce to systematic vocational guidance education of educational cooperation with school and region recognized that is high school students with intellectual disabilities's lifetime attitude in special class and also considerable positive influence about career preparation for get a job.
