With the advent of SNS, there have been a lot of research about SNS.
Most of the research focused mainly on the positive effects of SNS, however,
recently some address negative effects of SNS, such as fatigue while
communicating via SNS. Thus, this study explores whether Perceived
Interactivity, one of the most salient features of SNS, more specifically
Connectedness and Synchronicity, make people feel more exhausted while
using SNS. Data were collected from survey based on a convenience
sampling method. The results showed that Connectedness has positive effects
on Concern of Reputation and Management Burden, which were pointed out
to be the factors affecting SNS fatigue, and it has also proven that these
were the mediators between Connectedness and SNS fatigue. However,
Synchronicity has only positive effects on Management Burden, which also
has mediating effect on SNS fatigue. However, Synchronicity does not have
statistically significant effect on Concern for Reputation and also has no
significant mediating effect on SNS fatigue.
