본 연구는 어머니의 양육 역할과 유아의 유치원 적응, 어머니의 사회적 관계망이 어떠한 관 련이 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 구체적으로는 어머니의 양육 역할과 유아의 유치원 적응의 관계에서 어머니의 사회적 관계망의 조절효과를 검증하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 경 기도 소재의 유치원에 재원 중인 유아 400명과 유아의 어머니 400명, 그리고 교사 14명을 대 상으로 양육역할 수행 척도, 유치원 적응 척도, 사회적관계망 척도를 측정하였다. 수집된 자 료를 바탕으로 측정 변인의 일반적 경향을 알아보기 위해 기술통계와 상관분석을 실시하였 고, 변인간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 단순회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 조절효과를 살펴보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어머니의 양육 역할, 어 머니의 사회적 관계망, 유아의 유치원 적응의 세 변인 모두 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으 로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 양육 역할은 유치원 적응에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나 타났다. 셋째, 어머니의 사회적 관계망 중 친정어머니와 시어머니의 지지가 유치원 적응에 유 의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 어머니의 양육역할과 유치원 적응에서 어머니 의 사회적 관계망이 조절역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 어머니의 양육역할과 유아 의 유치원 적응에서 어머니의 다양한 사회적 관계망의 조절적 영향력을 규명하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
This study was to examine the moderating effects of mother’s social networks in relationships between parenting roles of mothers and children’s adjustment to kindergarten. For this purpose, surveys were conducted by 400 children attending kindergarten, 400 children’s mothers and 14 teachers in Gyeonggi Province. Correlation analysis was performed to determine the general trend of the measured variables based on the collected data, simple regression analysis was performed to determine the relationship between variables, and hierarchical regression analysis was performed to examine the moderating effect. The results of this study are as follows. First, mother’s social networks, parenting roles of mothers, and children’s adjustment to kindergarten were found to have significant positive correlation. Second, parenting roles of mothers significantly predicted children’s adjustment to kindergarten. Third, mother’s social networks significantly predicted children’s adjustment to kindergarten. Fourth, mother’s social networks in relationships between parenting roles of mothers and children’s adjustment to kindergarten showed a moderating effect. This study is significant in identifying moderating effect of mother’s diverse social networks in relationships between parenting roles of mothers and children’s adjustment to kindergarten. difference about effects of parents’ emotional support and peer support in relationships between adolescents’ interpersonal relationship and social competence.
