영문초록

Sewage sludge has to be treated environmentally friendly and also it can be utilized as fuel after proper treatment because it contains lots of organic compounds. Oil-mixed vacuum drying process with multi-stages drying and uniform mixing technology was applied sewage sludge dry for more effective treatment and fuel production from sewage sludge. 82% of average water contents in wet sewage sludge were dried by oil-mixed vacuum drying process to produce dried products with 1.1% of average water contents and 4150kcal/kg of caloric value. Pipe clogging with sludge was not observed during whole research period. 23% of heat carrier oil was saved and 15% of drying capacity was increased after application of uniform mixing technology. Also 24% of fuel was saved for sewage sludge drying after application of energy recycling system and only 390kcal was consumed for 1kg of sewage sludge drying which is lower than energy consumption of air drying process. These results were proved that oil-mixed vacuum drying process was suitable to produce fuel from sewage sludge with various advantages.
