영문초록

This study's purpose is to promote the average span of life and heat effectiveness of pipe by prevent the rust and scale from happening inside the waste heat boiler. In order to experiment on the rust and scale, the experimental device designed to be possible to do a same experiment as the condition of the waste heat boiler's water pipe is capable of experimenting on 5 cases when operated using the zinc steel plate that used as general pipe. The electrolysis equipment, devices from R company that prevent the rust and scale, ion exchange resin and its filter are included as devices for preventing the rust and scale. And also the city water and underground water were used to compare and analyze the formation degree of rust and scale according to the ingredients of the water quality. Collecting the city water and circulation water, the total hardness and residual chlorine, ORP, iron and pH were analyzed and, in order to know about the ingredients of the rust and scale formed inside the waste pipe, it was concluded that, after the EDX analysis, the chlorine ingredient included in the disinfection process of the city water promotes the rust creation, while in case of underground water the CaCO3 which is insoluble among the sorts of materials creating scale was judged as the representative ingredient. t was inferred from the results of the circulation water analysis by each case that the most effective way to prevent the rust and scale was the case that was equipped with a physical ion exchange resin & filter. However, this seems capable of being applied to small facility facilities, but seems to be weak when considering its economical aspect according to the maintenance and repair when applied to large facility ones.
