The elderly-friendly product issues have recently been high-lighted
owing to aging population in most of the advanced countries.
When developing any elderly friendly product, the most important
thing should be the usability testing to check whether the product
would be directly connected with elderly people’s body for usage or
not. Thus, the concept of the usability testing was dealt with in
this paper, while reviewing several cases of usability testing for
the domestic as well as foreign products. Based on the efficient
usability testing and on conducted case studies using the Gwangju
Senior Technology Complex infrastructure, the authors introduced
the better usability testing method which is applying on Living
Lab of the Senior Technology Complex.
