이 연구는 한국의 교육행정학 분야에서 지금까지 수행된 역사적 연구의 성과를 정리하고, 교육행 정사 연구의 접근방법과 영역을 분석하며, 향후 연구의 방향과 과제를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 교육행정사 연구의 전개과정에 초점을 두어, 지금까지 교육행정학의 관점에서 역사적 연구를 수행한 강길수, 안기성, 정태수, 조동섭, 박수정의 연구 성과를 중점적으로 정리하였다. 교육 행정사 연구의 접근방법은 역사적 연구방법을 통한 기술과 교육행정학적 관점의 분석이 요구되고, 당시의 교육행정 환경에서 해석하는 자세가 필요하다. 교육행정사 연구의 영역은 교육행정의 실제, 이론, 교육의 역사로 크게 구분할 수 있고, 구체적인 세부 영역에 대한 역사적 접근이 요구된다. 교 육행정사 연구를 위한 과제로 현재의 교육행정 개념으로부터 출발, 개별 교육제도와 행정의 변천과 정에 대한 역사적 연구, 교육행정의 학문과 교육의 역사에 대한 관심, 교육행정의 역사를 다루는 타 학문분야의 연구와 연계 등이 필요하고, 이러한 토대를 구축하기 위하여 교육행정학 연구자 집단의 교육행정사 학습과 연구 기회의 제공이 중요하다는 점을 제시하였다.
This study aims to summarize the historical research in educational administration(HREA) in Korea, to analyze the approaches and areas of the HREA, to present the directions and tasks of HREA. To this end, focused on the development of the HREA, the research results of Kanggilsu, Angiseong, Jeongtaesu, Chodongseop, Parksoojung was summarized as a historical research done so far in terms of educational administration. The approaches of the HREA are the description through the historical research method and the analysis through the educational administrative perspective and research methods, and it is necessary to interpret the position in terms of educational administration environment at the time. The area of the HREA are divided into the practice, the theory, and the education, and the historical approach should be made to the specific area. Tasks for the HREA are 1) departure from the current educational administration concept, 2) historical research on the transition process of individual education institution and administration, 3) interest in the history of science and education in educational administration, 4) educational and research associated with such other disciplines dealing with the history of the administration. To build a foundation for the HREA, providing learning and research opportunity for the HREA is important.
