This study aims to find out the student-teachers' satisfaction level on the international teaching practicum through the survey and to determine the impact of the programme through analyzing the student-teachers' pre-, mid-, and post-program interviews, journals, and final reports. The satisfaction level is generally high (4.4 out of 5.0) but the elementary schools' staff support, and the pre-programme orientation, and weekend cultural experience travels should be improved to meet the needs of the student-teachers. The student-teachers have reported that they have improved their teaching skills, multi-cultural competence, and English communication and presentation competence through the teaching practicum program coupled with their home-stay and cultural experience travels. The long-term studies on the effects of intranational teaching practicums should be carried out to develop the program further to meet the needs of student-teachers.
