섬오갈피나무의 열매를 이용한 실생번식의 재배법 확립을 위한 일환으로 연생에 따라 실생재배하면서 열매의 성숙기별로 채취하여 노천매장으로 후숙처리한 후 종피의 개열과 포장에서의 출아특성에 관하여 조사하였다. 섬오갈피나무 열매의 종피 개열과 출아율은 6~7년생의 성목열매에서 높은 수치를 보였고, 열매의 성숙기에 따른 개열과 출아율은 완숙기에 채취한 열 매에서 가장 수치가 높았다. 5년생 이하의 나무는 연생이 낮을수록 개열과 출아율이 낮아졌고, 성숙하지 못한 미숙과는 개열 과 출아가 매우 저조했다.
This study was investigated to find the seed dehiscence and emergence characteristics of Elentherococcus koreanum fruit gown under Different Conditions. plants of E. koreanum were 3 years to 7 years old trees grown by seminal propagation method in Gongju. The seed dehiscence percent were the highest in 6 to 7 years old trees by 57.0%, 57.5% respectively, but plant fruits in 4 to 5 years old were lower than those by 7.1%, 32.4%, and fruits of 3 years old tree did not dehisce. The emergence percent showed the highest value by 91.6% in 7 years old trees, and was decreased along with being young. The seed dehiscence and emergence percent as different harvest maturity showed the highest value in full ripe grade by 93.4%, 62.3% respectively, and those of unripeness showed the lowest value.
