The author seeks to propose and encourage that the support of teacher growth and development can be accomplished by accepting that teachers are unique in needs and abilities and should be viewed as individuals. Also this article seeks to encourage teacher educators to support the personal and professional growth of individual teachers in multi-dimensional ways. When teacher development becomes a process of mutual teacher support rather than the exclusive province of supervisors and administrators, the chances should improve for attaining greater teacher personal satisfaction and teaching performance. By developing and explication the concept of teacher development as the interaction of teacher behavior, teacher caraeteristics, environments, and tasks, the author present a way of helping teachers become more successful in their professional lives.
