본 연구는 좋은 체육수업을 위해 필요한 교사지식에 대한 탐색과 예비교사를 양성하는 교육대학의 현실을 파악하여 예비교사 의 체육수업지식을 어떻게 할 것인가에 대해 방향을 제안하는데 연구의 목적을 두고 있으며, 이를 확인하기 위해 교사지식에 대한 이론적 탐색과 교육대학교 교육과정에 대한 조사, 그리고 체육 전임교수들을 상대로 한 설문을 통해 이를 탐색해 보았다. 초등교원 양성과정에 있어 당면하고 있는 교사지식에 대한 문제를 해결하기 위해서는 교사지식에 대한 선택과 균형을 어떻게 조화롭게 이루어 나가느냐와, 운영에 있어서 어떻게 하면 교육 현장과의 괴리를 줄이면서 예비교사들에 좋은 체육수업을 하게 하기 위한 교사지식을 제공하느냐에 달려있다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 따라서 논의하고 조사한 것을 기초로 제언을 하면 첫째, 교육대학의 현실적인 문제를 바탕으로 체육과 교사지식을 연구하고 제안할 교육대학 체육과 공동 교사지식 연구모임을 만들 것을 제안한다. 둘째, 교육대학 체육과 교사지식 연구모임에서 도출한 체육교사지식과 공통의 인식을 바탕으로 교재 개발을 위한 노력을 해 줄 것을 제안한다. 셋째, 체육심화과정의 체육 내용지식중 예비교사들에게 필요한 모든 지식을 이수할 수 없는 여건을 감안하여, 체육인문과학을 통 합한 지식, 체육사회과학을 통합한 지식, 체육자연과학을 통합한 지식을 중심으로, 통합된 성격의 강좌를 개설할 것을 제안한다.
As government recognizes the importance of would-be teachers' knowledge, the government standardizes curriculum that trains teachers in education universities, and announces it to give certificates for acquiring a certain level of teacher knowledge. The standard curriculum is the least criteria of teacher knowledge as a teacher, however it is difficult for enough credits and working time to be assigned to physical education curriculum under current condition of education university. Therefore, it's not too much to say that solving these problems depends on how the teacher knowledge is chosen and harmonized, and what teacher knowledge is offered to would-be elementary school teachers in order to have a good class while narrowing gaps between practical educations. Thus, based on the foregoing points, Firstly, I would suggest that research community of teacher knowledge should be organized in cooperation with education universities for physical education based on practical issues of education universities. Secondly, I would suggest that joint efforts for developing teaching materials should be made based on the knowledge and common awareness from communities. Thirdly, I would suggest that combined lecture should be opened based on the integrated knowledge of physical arts and sciences, physical social sciences and physical natural sciences, in consideration of conditions in that every knowledge necessary to would-be teachers at further level of physical education cannot be completed. Lastly, I would suggest that the character for further level of physical education should be reviewed and clarified and physical education curriculum should be adjusted based on overall review of revised curriculum.
