In this study, the inquiry of meta-analysis methodology using SPSS instead of special programs for meta-analysis such as CMA are suggested. Because there is no meta-analysis module in SPSS, it is not possible to perform meta-analysis directly. But by using Compute command and other statistics menus, this study shows that it is possible to perform meta-analysis to quite satisfactory level. Because this method perform meta-analysis step by step, it is somewhat complicate and less convenient. But this step by step procedures are very helpful to understand the concept of meta-analysis, and therefore a good approach to teach meta-analysis method.
