This study which is based on in-depth interviews for addiction
process of children's of alcoholics. Using a Hermeneutic
Phenomenological Case Study, I found that the essence of alcoholic
intoxication is ‘lt gave alcohol to alleviate the painful experience,
but did not hide the shame of children's of alcoholics’. It Means
that The children were alone cope with fear and shame. Their
experiences of essence of the addition process are following : first,
‘Holding up a confused feeling alone’, second, ‘Repress one's
emotions to escape from its negative eyes’, three, ‘Repressed
feelings gave way to alcohol’, four, ‘Again causes internal conflicts’.
five, ‘standing at the crossroad of the life and death due to
alcohol’. Based on these findings, I suggested that the tasks social
worker has to do and social work practical alternative proposals
and challenges.
