시각장애인의 전환기 적응 경험 연구

본 연구는 시각장애인들의 성공적 전환의 경험을 다루고자 하였다. 이를 위해 18세 이상의 시각장애인 9명에 대해 인터뷰를 실시하였고, 인터뷰한 내용을 전 사하여 지속적인 비교분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 “세상 엿보기”, “어우러지기”, “주체성 찾기”, “홀로서기”, “자기 관리하기”라는 주제묶음이 상정되었다. 상정 된 주제묶음을 토대로 시각장애인들의 성공적 전환을 위한 개인, 가족, 학교 및 지역사회에서의 접근방안을 제언하였다.

영문초록

This study deals with the successful transition experience of visually impaired persons and suggests appropriate social work interventions for them. For this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with nine visually impaired persons. And 5 major themes and 14 sub-themes were extracted from interview data. The major themes are named as follows: “testing the life”, “being the harmony”, “taking subjectivity”, “standing on its own feet”, “managing themselves”. Based on these results, the researcher suggests several intervention strategies for successful transition of visually impaired adolescents at individual, family, school and community level.
