The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between self-efficacy
according to college students individual factors and core competencies t\o analysis the
effects on core competencies. This study conducted a survey on 352 private university
students located in Chungnam province through self-efficacy questionnaire and K-CESA.
For the data analysis, it conducted using a correlation analysis, two-way ANOVA, post-hoc
test. As the result of the study, first, the relationship between the core-competencies and
self-efficacy was statistically significant. Second, it showed that the differences of core
competencies by individual variables such as grade, gender and majority fields. Based on
there results, this study suggests that when colleges decide to set up education course not
only characteristics of college students but also factors having a relevance to core
competencies like self-efficacy.
